Ed Levitt

Ed Levitt was famous for not only designing backgrounds for Disney, but painting them too. His friendship with Bill Melendez flourished at Playhouse Pictures. When Mr. Melendez opened a studio, Ed brought his talents and worked with Bill on the early 1960's Peanuts and Babar films until he retired in 1972 with "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" being his last project.
