"We Are The World" was a song written in 1985 by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and produced by Quincy Jones.

This particular song featured 45 different popular recording artists (of the 1980s) and was recorded as a charity single to help raise funds for famine in Africa.

It was extremely successful and became a "pop culture" mainstay for the 1980s.

Since Quincy Jones was the person to help orchestrate all of the artists coming together, a mock-pop-culture reference of "We Are The Tunes" was created. This piece features Quincy with 18 WB characters, in a similar set-up to "We Are The World".
